Flowcharts

Flowcharts break down the web site into individual pages. This will organize the author and also show the client where his project is going.

Although for a small web site hand-drawing is acceptable, and for very large ones you might consider pinning sheets of paper to the wall with yarn between them to better see their interactivity, the medium sized flowchart can be done relatively easily with "Inspiration".

After you open Inspiration you are given 3 different choices in what mode in which you want to work - choose "Diagram".

Type in "Hobbies" for you Main Idea

Select "Rapid Fire" from you menu and quickly type a minimum of 3 hobbies hitting the "return key" between each of the hobbies. Then, one at a time select each of the hobbies and use Rapid Fire to make subcategories - at least 2 for each one.

When you are all done, select the "Arrange" button from the menu bar, and choose "Tree".

You should now have a readable, organized flowchart from which making a web site would be much easier to do.
