Make storyboard layouts, so they will print comfortably on a regular
sheet of paper (you don't have to print them however)
Make the overall canvas size in Photoshop 3000px X 2400px, Landscape, 300 ppi, cymk color mode,
white contents
The cell boxes have to be the dimensions of width:height in a 4:3 ratio
We will use cells of 1200 X 900
Work out the numbers on paper first, then do the production
Make sure that the ruler is showing. If not View>Show Ruler.
If ruler is not in pixels, Right-click the ruler & scroll to pixels
Make sure the "info" panel is showing. "If you don't see it , look in
the window..." (Window>Info (F8))
Drag Guides to the appropriate coordinates
Lock your Guides, View>Lock Guides
Turn on View>Snap To>Guides
With the rectangle tool, drag a rectangle inside the cell outline
Make sure the Foreground color is black
Edit>Stroke>6px, Outside, normal blending at 100% opacity
Drag marquee to next cell & repeat Edit>Stroke etc....
Save them as lnStoryboard.tif (ln = Last Name in lower case)
With Guides & Without Guide views

In the upper left hand corner type your name, GRC119, and the words 9-Ball Storyboard
Make at least 3 copies
You will also need to number each page - upper right corner
Scenario:
You are shooting a film on some pool-sharks
The sequence of storyboards is of a game of "9 Ball"
The official rules can be downloaded here
You are to story board one entire game from the opening "break" to the final 9 ball shot. At minimum this would be 10 frames of storyboarding
